Dude you've been ubiquitous lately. Go back to work or get a hobby. I bet your wife is ready for you to GTFO and go back to work too. B

Very faint. It's such a high pitch it's not that noticeable if you are listening to music but I hear it. It's not belt squeak either. Sorry to hear you aren't getting laid.

Engine or alternator whine would change pitch with the RPMs. As you accelerate and your RPMs go up does the pitch of the whine go up as well? If it is at a constant frequency then it is something else.

No, the Bose amplifier in the trunk is fed an analog line level unprocessed signal from the head unit.

I've got it too. Good to hear im not the only one and im not going crazy and hearing things. It's a very light high pitched buzz from the right side of the car. It comes and goes at random times. Radio climate control etc. on or off it doesn't matter. If you go to the dealership have some younger guys listen in. Its like that high pitched sound older people cant hear. It really just depends on the persons hearing thought.

That certainly doesn't sound like alternator noise caused by a ground issue.

Does it sound kinda like the noise a laptop will make sometimes? Intermittent and high pitch? I am wondering if it is the car's computer (or one of the pieces of it).

Does it come from the speakers? Or is it coming from inside the dash?

I can't tell exactly where it's coming from but it's not from the speakers becasue it happens with audio off as well. I've never been able to decipher if it's from the right side of the car or not. Wakeboardr116 is right though, it is quite high pitched and many adults might not hear it. I'm not exactly young, and I can barely hear it. Has anyone else ever turned off the stereo, climate control, rolled up the windows and listened for it at atound 80 MPH? Maybe it's in everyone's car and they just haven't noticed? Or perhaps it's just some of us and something's wrong.

It really doesn't matter if the audio is "on" or "off". The Bose amplifier is give the 12V "on" signal if the car is in the on position. Whether or not it is the radio I don't know obviously. Just letting you know that the amp is on regardless of whether the radio says "Audio Off".

Mine i notice the most a slower speeds and especially when im stopped or idleing, after the all the other engine and road noises over power it, but sometimes i can still hear it even at higher speeds.

I would go easy then hard. Start with parts on the outside of the car to see if something is being exposed at higher airflow rates. try to have someone else in the car poke around and listen for a source, while going 80+. high frequencies can be a b$tch to find sometimes.

Do you have an aftermarket intake?
