electronics!!!!

yesterday morning I stopped the car in front of my son's school. when I opened the door to get out, the driver's side window went down!!
I closed the door back and I pulled the window switch, it went up.

I stopped the engine and got out and....the window went down. Did that 3/4 times, until I got fed up and headed to my dealer ( abt 120 km)

They checked it out and the diagnostic was : we have to re- program the window settings

How, in hell, the windows settings were de- programed in the first place?
answer: we don't know, it happens!!!

Just in case ''it happens'' to any of you that's the procedure:

with engine running and door closed.
you pull the window switch until the glass is fully closed and YOU KEEP PULLING the switch for 5 seconds.
you release the switch AND YOU PULL IT AGAIN for 5 seconds.

then, you PUSH the switch until the glass is fully down and you KEEP PUSHING for 5 seconds.
you release the switch AND YOU PUSH IT AGAIN for 5 seconds.

It should work
