Blinking airbag light after sub/amp install

Just like the title says I got my sub and amp professionally installed (in my 4080) drove it home, reset the windows and noticed a blinking airbag light on the dash. Is there anyway to fix it without going to the dealership. The closest one is 1 1/2 hrs away in Santa Barbara. I dont want to go there and have them charge me after they notice my after market stuff.

I had the same problem, what happened was that I some how touched an airbag connector and it got lose. All yellow connectors are air bag connectors.

I figured this out, by taking it to the dealer because first I had no idea what was going on... they ran the consult and it pointed exactly to the one connector, plugged it back in and all good. Except they charged me $60 but I guess it was my own fault.

Yes I had this same problem. You need to follow the procedure on G35driver and try it till it works. Worked for me on the 2nd try

I tried it again and it worked like a charm. The only thing I noticed now was the intelligent key blinking on the dash when my cars not running. I cant remember if thats normal or not.

How did someone touch an airbag sensor wire while installing an amp and sub? They are not even on the same wirinf harness?

Ya im not sure. They said our cars are a real PITA to work on. Then they said it happens with all nissan/infinitis that the airbag sensors go off. Im not that technical so i couldnt exactly call them on their sh*t but I think they didn't know what they were doing.
