torn between 2 subs

ok, first at bat between the 2 i'm looking at is PUNCH. i saw and listened to it today at target and i love the style and it sounded very crisp....

and also, my friend showed me this one tonight, it's already enclosed, so I won't have to spend extra money on an amp, and it has a 300$ markdown. I'm thinking maybe i should know which one is the more obvious deal but idk? It's an alpine

anyways, which one would you suggest, or do you have other suggestions? I don't want to spend a LOT of money, i want something good for price, and 300-400$ is really about max of what i'm willing to spend.

I'm not sure which one seems more stylish either, i havnet seen the alpine in person, but the punch is VERY nice imo.

and lastly, one reason i'm considering these 2 subs, is because they're pretty compact compared to what i've seen (but i havent seen a lot) i'm thinking they should be great space savers in the trunk?

If you want something decent, then your 1st mistake is shopping at Target. Sorry. Try 1 Alpine type-R. it's a Beast!! And well within your budget

Alpine isn't known for great subs, they are great with headunits and indash nav/dvd. But go with JL, or Kicker, try to go with a company that has better products in the subwoofer segment. Just because a company is awesome at one component doesn't mean they are good at the other.

BTW, never get any car equipment from Target, unless its an air freshner.
