So, when Nichole dropped my car off to me a couple months back I remembering her saying something about keeping cellphones away from your intelligent key. But I was to obsessed with the new car to really be paying attention to what she said was the problem. Does anyone know what the reason behind keeping your cellphones and the keys seperated? She mentioned something about the frequency getting crossed and the key would no longer function requiring me to flat bed my car to a dealership for them to reflash my car and reprogram my key set. Anyone what the deal is with this?
i actually heard the same thing but i thought the kid as lieng bc he is known for being a bull **** artist.. so i didnt believe him.. he told me your cell phone computer etc etc.. but never took him serious..
Since I have had the car since the end of January I always have kept the fob key and my cell phone in my pocket book together. Actually they sit side by side in it, and I have had no problem what so ever.

same, always put the key and cell in the same pocket and nothing has gone wrong.
This was a problem with the 07 Sedans... and quite a few people got new intelligent keys. My parents 07 Sedan was in the VIN range and they got 2 new intelligent key fobs.
my dealer told me the same thing.. I keep them seperated all the time just in case.. I hope it's not true so that I can stop doing it though... It's kind of annoying having to worry about it.. especially if I'm at the gym with no pockets..
