Another company called Braile is out there. Small, compact and lightweight batteries. Might want to look into them to.

There are different model yellow tops? Any particular reason why you 'need' a yellow top? I had some serious bump in my G35 and the stock battery powered them sufficiently and is still working 3+ years..

Just changing out your battery won't stop the lights from dimming. You are going to need to install a "cap" or two. These things will also allow your system to drop the lowest of bass for longer periods of time with out sacrificing any performance. This will also help out with the longevity of the system and keeps the health of you main batt. stable. People don't understand how important it is to have a cap. If you have the money to get a $1000+ system than you should have the extra $100 or two to get the cap. Cars are not supposed to drive around with strobing head lights because of a high pulsing electrical load. You sure wouldnt of bought the car if it did this. You should not put a 40K+ car through that drama. Plus it strains your fuses, no one likes sorting through those little buggers.

I have a red top w/ 800h kinetix. I still think its a little excessive powering jl 450/4 and 1000/1.
