Questions refering to radio/xm
Can you link a post that shows someone got $77 with traffic. I've seen several people make it sound like that, but when questioned said they actually had to pay extra for it. I've read them all, but maybe I just missed it.
You live in Houston. Did you find the nav traffic useful? I live on the north side, and found that most of the accidents weren't listed, and the ones that were listed were no longer there. And while the traffic flow information was neat, it usually just told me what I already knew....that I was screwed
.
I don't fault the system, as it relies on outside sources (people actually reporting the accidents), I just didn't find it that useful.

I paid $77 for the year + $40 or so for traffic. For me less than $10 per month is a no brainer for something that's useful for me.
I admittedly don't drive as much as most people, and the cities I do drive in (aside from Houston) aren't covered. I can see where it would be useful. And I expect it to get better over time. I might give it another try after the Sirius XM merger....whenever that might be

If you read down DiamondG says he never actually had to renew (dealer might have picked up the tab). I think he was just repeating what he read somewhere else. There is one guy that got the $77 deal + traffic at 1/2 price. Either way, we are talking less then $4 a month difference.....if it's useful does it really matter?
