Hey all.
Been looking at a bunch of posts, and it doesn't seem like many people found a good option to mount their off the shelf GPS units. I've got a Garmin Nuvi and I can't find a good spot to put it that doesn't impede my view.
Anyone have any luck?

 

right over your in-dash screen will do.

 

I mounted mine just below the rear view so that in normal seat position the bottom of the rear-view just barely covers the top of the PND screen (Portable Navigation Device). It doesn't block much extra of the windshield view. Plus if you are willing to make a custom cable you can power it from the rear-view so there is no messy wires in sight.
