subwoofer problem

my installer installed everything correctly but there is one problem he hooked up the hi-low converter in the rear speaker and when i turn off my car the subwoofer is still on and makes a very loud sound for about 10 secs..and the weird thing is if we open the trunk it dosent happen only when we close it. so i was wondering how can this be solved. do u guys think we can solve this if we tap in before the woofer amp? or is the hi-low converter i got sucks

we found out the problem when he taped into the right rear speaker there was an antenna hooked up there so it grabed the radio frequencies. we then tap before the woofer amp and it works fine now
