Camera Install

Hey Guys,
I just wanted to make sure, if i install a camera in the back, like the one that comes with the Navi pack on the G, i would be able to get the wiring hooked up to my screen and see everything perfectly through it right?

Probably blonde to ask, but never hurts to make sure. lol

also is there a specific type of car camera i should be looking for. angle wise, etc?

i think you are digging into a can of worms. the factory system has a controller unit in the trunk area and a signal sender from the tranny to engage when in reverse. unless you are electronically adept, you are going to need to have a professional do this, in which case you are going to spend quite a bit of money.

Oh ya i was definitely going to have it professionally done. i wouldn't want to mess with any wiring. i know the camera is roughly about 300 and i am not sure about the install charges. so as long as its prof. done they would know how to hook it up to my system?

Even doing that he would still have to do "that of which we do not speak of" to get the RCA jacks to work while he is moving.

Nobody here likely knows anything more than speedracer already told you. Your best bet is to get this information form the dealership service department. As stated, unless you are an electronics whiz it's not a DIY type of task. You'll only get smartass responses here and no real solution to your issue.
