Problem W/ Voice Recognition

when trying to voice prompt a house number my system will not respond. It lets me voice prompt the State, City, and Street but it does nothing after prompting the house number. It will not even respond if I say "no house number". I am taking it in to the dealer of coarse but I was wondering: Has anyone else had this issue?

I don't know how you are saying the numbers, but this always works for me.

Try saying the individual numbers; say "one five two" instead of "one hundred fifty two"

Works perfect for me, I've done 5 numbers in a row several times never had a problem or incorrect number.

Funny thing is that it started working again today. Normally I say the numbers one at a time. The system simply wasn't responding at all. Must have been a slight temporary glitch.

Oh well hopefulyl It won't act up againt but I have plenty of time on the warrnty if it does.

Kahboom, were you having a solo moment? You know, a bottle of Captain and then trying to dial for a cab or ride home from your car. For some reason the G doesn't understand drunken speech from what I hear.

j/k

I actually had that problem during my new car orientation. We were programming in my work address and the numbers "750" wouldn't work no matter how many different ways we tried. "750" would work on a seperate address. The dealer rep was in a week later and the same problem happened with another new G37 on the lot, so it's clearly a little software glitch. Infiniti should be aware of it now, but who know's if the dealer's are.

LOL After reading your post, I cracked myself up at a scenario involving a drunken G37 owner calling into the ddealership with slurred speech saying that his voice recognition it not working.
