Soundproofing with Subs

I'm about to put 2x500W subs in the trunk. I was curious to hear from anyone else who has done this already and see how the rattle is. I know there's a boatload of soundproofing in the car already, but I want to make sure its not going to sound like my accords trunk with 500w in it (crappy).

Good to hear. I don't want to have to weigh the car down further with dynamat.

I have no interior rattles with my W6, the trunk rattles slightly but there's not much you can do about that. Not worth it to dampen it any.

Ok... I slapped 2 Kicker L7 12s in the G today... And Yes it rattles... Alot... But the good thing is... that its only the Trunk Lid. Some Dynamat would fix this I think... All I had to do was to put a lil pressure on the lid and it sounded nice.

But yea if you go crazy at put super thumpers in there... Its going to rattle....

Yeah I was thinking that all I'd need is a little 'mat in the trunk lid. Good to hear, thanks.

I have 2 10" w3's in there and the trunk rattles a bit along with the license plate. Did you guys just put some sort of foam behind the license plate to make it not rattle?

I have two treo 8-inch subs running off a US Amp MD1D (1200 watts). They hit really well, but dynamat under the trunk lid definitely stopped any rattling - good luck
