Questions with portable MP3 player

i have a sony MP3 player and i was just wondering if i can hook this up with some cable to the outlet for IPOD cable

unfortunately i do not have a IPOD and i dont want to spend another 200 bucks when i have a nice MP3 player already

is there anyway to hook it up so i can listen to it in the car?

I think you can use the audio inputs that are located inside the armrest.

you meant white or red input for audio?

Bingo. But you would have to control the mp3 player from the source, meaning you wouldnt be able to use the steering wheel controls for skip, fast fwd etc.. other than volume up and down.

just get one of those 1/8th mm to RCA cables.

Exactly, just run it to the headphone jack, adn the plug the other end into the white and red rca inputs in the arm rest, switch the source on the car to audio/video and you are set.

Not a problem dude. Bestbuy, circuit city, target, walmart, kmart, uhm...any electronics store should have them. Just tell them you are looking for a 1/8th inch jack to rca's male to male cable.

sweet ......................

went to bestbuy and they were selling one for 15bucks

got the exact samething at walmart for 5bucks
