I have done my search but couldn't find anything that could answer my Q.
Is there any way to skip or turn off the "instructions" or I should say the "explanation" when you push the voice recognition button? Thanks!

There is a setting to turn that off.

I don't remember where, but check under each menu in settings. There will be an option for like abbreviated feedback or something.

A customer relations person turned it off for me before i left the parking lot. So all i hear is the beep when i first press the button, instead of the whole choose a list of commands thing.

 

Settings> Others> Voice Commands> Alternate Voice Mode

 

It also goes away i fyou do the voice learning modual.

 

My G does not have Alternate Voice Mode on the NAVI. Do I need update?
