Give it some time. Someone will develop a DD kit for us.

Just get a DSP for yours. Either you spend $400 on a headunit and more on a new housing, or you spend about the same on a DSP that lets you do everything a good headunit will and you get to the the nice stock look, as well as the additional bonus that thieves can't tell you have a system.

DSP is not required. Signal from the Clarion HU is flat and not processed. It all happens in the Blose amps.

I'm talking about for equalization and other useful things aftermarket headunits do.

Gotcha! Personally I am trying to wait for the MS-8 to get the hell out, but after a year of delays I am questioning it.

I'm really looking foward to the 3Sixty. Its got an equalizer for everything, and its all done via Bluetooth on my laptop. Overkill, but its too cool to not get. Plus I get another audio in, so I can hook up a dvd player eventually in addition to the iPod.

Do yourself a favor and research the MS-8. If you'd like I can give you some links on a car audio forum. The guy who is marketing it for JBL frequently gives insight and feedback on it. no other DSP will come close to the power that this thing has. Just some briefs points below:

8 channels in either via RCA or speaker level inputs.
acts as an 8 channels amp for 8 outgoing channels if wanted.
time alignment
fully adjustable crossovers for all eight channels
Harmans L7 logic surround sound if you'd like to use it.
fully automated frequency calculations for up to four seats
RTA
parametric equalizer

in short, gary biggs competed with it last year and won the highest sound quality level at the world finals in car audio. And it sets up within like 10-15 min! its all automated and suppose to be sick. It's been delayed for like a year now, but set for a spring release. Just do yourself a favor and read about it. Andy is a knowledgeable guy who competes. If you dont understand something that you read, just ask me and I will help you out.
