Factory Headunit W/ JL Cleansweep

Has anyone used the JL Audio Cleansweep in there G37 yet? I was thinking of putting a 10W6 or W7 in with a the JL 500/1 Amp for a little added bass. It will not be the last thing I do but as my speakers ar only 4 days old I do not need to replace them yet. I am not adding a Aftermarket headunit since I have Nav and all that. I just really wanted to know if the Cleansweep was worth the money or just going with a simple speaker to RCA converter would be better and like $200 cheaper. Please thet me know if you have used it before.

I am also adding a JL sub with the 500/1 amp....the shop that will do it plans on using the hi / low line out converter....not ideal but from what I hear is fine. On a different note has anyone added an aftermarket amp to help the factory speakers?? How easy is it and does it brighten the sound much?? Any Infiniti warranty issues??

I don't know if this will help but I did a test today on my car. In my truck I have a sub amp that has both RCA and speaker level inputs. I searched the wiring diagram of the woofer amp and it has two wires running to it. The are Violet and Sky Blue, very thin wires. I hooked up the two wires to the RCA input on the amp and turned on the car. Very Loud. I then hooked up the two wires to the speaker level input and it was loud but clean. I am just going to buy an amp that has speaker level inputs an piggy back the two wires to the new amp and presto. I am also looking for an amp that has a remote so I can adjust the volume independently.

Good News Guys...
I was searching around on the JL Audio web site and found out the if you have a 500/1 you don't need a Cleansweep. The Amp will do it for you. Go to this web site and scroll down to "System 11"and then scroll back up and watch "Interactive Input Sensitivity (“Gain”) Setting Tutorial" and it tells you how to set it up.

Here is the page link.
