Traffic Alerts on Nav

My map shows the green, yellow and red arrows but I never get any warnings. I read the manual, made all the correct settings but it doesn't seem to be working. What am doing wrong?

What kinda warnings are you expected to see?

It'll only announce traffic congestions only if you set a destination.
And whenever there's a nearby accident or construction, it'll show a yellow sign wherever the incident is.

I get the warnings, however, my problem is in selecting the traffic info for local reports. It downloads the latest data (anywhere between 70 - 150 events), however, I cannot scroll down past the FIRST screen of alerts!!!!! does anyone else have this issue????

It pretty much prevents you from scrolling past the first screen in all the menus while driving. Not exactly my favorite "feature".....

Driving or not, I have the issue....In fact, occasionally, on non-traffic screens, I cannot scroll down past the first screen (e.g., settings, etc.).

Like I said, it prevents you from scrolling past the first screen in all the menus. It's a safety feature, which makes a lot of the features (mostly nav) fairly useless.

Not being able to scroll past the first screen while parked, or not moving is a different issue. I've had no problems with that.

I have noticed that the traffic is quite behind. The local news in Los Angeles was much more up to date the other day than the XM traffic station and the map. Not impressive at all.
