I just got CF card. I started by uploading an audiobook (mp3s) on to it. When I look at the files in the car they are out of order but when I press text and play them form there, they play in the order of the naming convention. I don't know if this answers anything but it seems to working for me where an audiobook has to be played in a particular order.

The song order is based on the folder level and the time it was created (or maybe the modified time I can't remember).

I was thinking of writing an hta application to arrange the files in the order you want then update the time to set the correct order.

Then I found it easier to just use an ipod.

So far it is working great for me and better than my IPOD. I listen to audiobooks so it is very important that whatever I use keeps my place. When I use my IPOD, it constantly discharges when I turn off the car so it restarts when I start the car and my place is lost. With the CF reader, it always starts exactly where I left off.

This is the first book I have tried so I might have problems later with files that do not order correctly when I upload them to the CF card but so far it is working great.
