I'm guessing if you've never owned an Infiniti or a Intel. key vehicle, this would benefit you and help you out on understanding the functions of it.

I think it would be nice if in the auto mode the headlights turned on when you hit the unlock button... Is that what you meant by possible configurations?

the purpose couldnt get more detailed and to the point.

Summary of Intelligent Key (IK) and Remote Key (RK) features.

No need to question the purpose just because it's not useful to you as an individual...

I'm gonna post up how to change a flat just so you all know how to do it right.

j/k I assumed wrongly when he said it was from the manual that he just posted that info. I understand now that he reorganized the information into a usable format. I think.

As long as I can walk up to the car and it opens when I push that black button on the door handle I'm ok. My mind isn't much good for going further than that...

As far as I know, headlights don't turn on with unlock, only with panic. However, since panic button is capable of doing so, the wiring is there but not the default programming.

Sorry about this thread, I did wonder if this would be worthwhile to even post. I did a quick summary more for myself, but thought maybe other novices might like it too. I can always ask the mod to delete this thread.

wll chi-town g37, i dont know how long you guys have been changing flats in chicago but over here in the Motor City, the process has been around for several decades. Can't say the same for the Intelligent Key now can we? You're comparing apples and oranges.. The iKey is new to MANY people who are used to traditional keys - so having the information on it ain't so bad....

Thats my opinion...

I see CHI-TOWN's . Everything is kool. Actually, it can be surprising how many don't know how to change tires, oh well.
