Hi guys.. have a quick question. am thinking of getting the JDM equivalent of the G37 (am based in asia), but the only problem is that I am told that the 7 inch LCD menus are all in japanese!

i dont really have much detail about what can be controlled through the LCD screen i.e. i understand its not quite as complicated as i-drive.. but can anyone give me a brief idea about what kind of functionality you can get?

 

You should consider getting an english navi manual.

 

the car wont come with navi option.

so guys, assuming there is no navi option, can someone just quickly let me know what else is controlled via the controller and the 7 inch LCD?

 

Sat radio, FM/AM, Aux, Ipod, and shows clement control setting other then that its very limited as to what you can change under comfort setting (CS example how long you want the lights to stay on after you turn the car off and things to that extent)

 

Maybe Infiniti has a solution for you. It's just software for the menu, so maybe you'd only need the right DVD update or a firmware flash? On the bright side, at least you have the dark brown leather option.
