Well, I saw a Journey Sport and it had everything in the Console. So I assume that the 6MT has the RCA Jacks below the door considering that the console is set up differently because of the E Brake.

Oh yeah, you'll definitely still get the AUX ports and the iPod integration with the 6MT........I was just saying that the center console itself is different from the 5AT to the 6MT. It's further back and smaller with the 6MT......and this is because of the e-brake like you mentioned.

lets be real here, you really think infiniti will let you "play" videos on that screen?

they won't even let you program the navi while it's in motion, so playing "video" on it is out of the question. unless you hack it somehow.

Lets be real here, Infiniti will let you play videos on the screen. Have you ever seen it tried? I saw a video being played on the screen when I went to see the G37. There's a reason why they have those RCA jacks there and it's not for cosmetic reasons.

They will not let you program the navigation while the car is in motion for safety reasons... but hey, just use the voice commands... that's much safer and easier. You can program the navigation while the car is in park... and that's the same with playing videos. You can play videos while the car is in park and not in motion. Infiniti doesn't want drivers to potentially be watching a movie while driving 80mph down the freeway. lol Another distraction that endangers the lives of other drivers on the road.

This system is the same with the Lexus system.

same thing for the aftermarket pioneer avic d2/d3's--- you have to hack it to watcht eh video.... Infiniti nor Pioneer, or any other company wants to get sued for obstruction or distraction while vehicle is in motion.

but at least the RCA input jacks are there in place already... makes it easier to mod

A hack? Is there even a hack for it on the '07 sedan? If there is, then I've been left in the dark. lol

when I test drove the G37 sport it had the ipod dock with 3 rca jacks. Set your ipod under video for tv out under video settings this will transfer the image to the screen if it is enabled. I have to select this when I play movies on my D3

No. It is illegal. At least in Michigan. Thus, no manufacturer has a headunit that allows video during movement. Though easy to baypass, it is considered a hazzard and distraction. Pretty much similar to those idiots whom text message while on the expressway. The question is wheather or not the video format pumped out of the iPod is supported by the vehicles display. The native iPod format is 480x320 MP4. Thus, does the G37 video support 480x320MP4. I just purchased the vehicle, so I have not verified the specifications. I can tell you my previous Alpine headunit, though provided two AUX inputs, failed to play iPod videos as well.
