I also have the hyperblinking issue with brake depressed. If anyone has any ideas please let me know. It worked normally for a while, but after a month or so the passenger side hyperblinks with brake.

i'd check your connections for the passenger side. if that looks good, i'd look at replacing the resistor on that side as the next step.
I installed it exactly like this on my 2011 sedan. Same color wiring. Tried the hazards and turn signals, and everything worked great. When I started driving, I noticed that I would get hyper blinking if I had the turn signal AND the brake pressed. As soon as I would release the brake, the regular speed blinking came back. Happens on both sides. Any suggestions???
Maybe I didn't squeeze the red splice things hard enough. I'll post a pic later of my wiring. Both sides work are acting exactly the same.
I fixed it earlier today. I had done everything correct except for one of the resistor ends. I had tapped it into the green with yellow stripe wire (brake) instead of the solid green (turn) wire. I switched it over, and it works awesome now.
@nick from diode I just placed an order yesterday for my DIY for 2013 g37 sedan. But didn't add the resistors because I didn't read abut the hyper blink till after. Is they're anyway I can either add them on or just cancel my order and really do it
I just placed an order for mine too. I figured I might as well do this because I am going to be removing the back bumper to replace the bracket that holds the license plate led's since it rusted to ****. I have a lot of work to do this week.

DD shipping is pretty darn fast, so you should probably call in the morning to make sure they can combine them so you don't have to place another order/get hit with another shipping charge.

......the only thing this requires is unhooking the carpet in the trunk and peeling it back. No bumper removal needed.

I just replaced mine this past weekend. Can't believe that piece is close to 60 bucks.

I'm having this happen to me on the passenger side tail light. I checked my splices and crimps, still have the hyper blinking.

Thanks Diode!
I could see the metal splice through the solid green wire, so I gotta take another look today after work.
