Hey yall,

I just got a bottle of 303 protectant and want to cover my interior with it this weekend. I got my car fully detailed at a detail shop 3 weeks ago and have a light dust buildup now. Would I need to clean the interior before I apply the 303 protectant or am ok just wiping it with 303 even with light dust build up?? I want to wipe down just about the entire interior - dash, doors, leather seats, and maybe even my weathertechs, give it nice protection with the weather starting to get hot. Let me know PLEASE.

Unless you have a cheap or damaged microfiber towel (and or are not using a cleaner as some sort of lubricant) the microfiber is much less abrasive than a cotton terry towel. The plastic on the instrument clusters are typically easy to scratch. You must use a mild cleaner to lubricate the surface to avoid scratching it and whatever you use, you should do so with the least amount of pressure necessary to clean the surface. I use MF towels on the plastic and have not had any issues.

The only part I'd be worried about is the tach plastic, everything else is fine.
