Menzerna Polishes Chart

It seems that there have been a lot of questions lately about what Menzerna polishes to use for different situations. This might give you guys some more direction as to what Menzerna polishes you should be using for what you are trying to accomplish. I've also attached a PDF that might be useful for some.

The FMJ would fall in the 'Protection' category. Most of what you see in this chart are part of Menzerna's 'Professional' Line, but have consumer line equivalents.

If you look at the chart you'll see that the more aggressive polish you use, the less gloss you will have. A heavy cutting polish like Power Gloss not only dusts like a ****, it leaves a pretty heavy haze as well. A heavy cutting polish is used for extreme jobs like the one I encountered recently. I used Power Gloss on this customer's vehicle. Because of the extreme hazing left by the Power Gloss, I had to follow up with a less aggressive polish.

So basically, the more cutting power a polish has, the less gloss you will have in your paint. Following up with a less aggressive polish will remove hazing and restore gloss back to the paint surface. I hope that helps, but feel free to ask any additional questions.
