Remove piece above gauge cluster?

Is it possible to remove the piece above the gauge cluster? If it's possible, any instructions would be great. Thanks.

I actually studied it many times but just couldn't visually understand it.

Yeah I have looked at that in the past too. I was hoping someone had tried it before with some pics/pointers.

Its not that bad if you have long exentions. Be sure to poaition the steering wheel all the way out and down as well for maximum room. Its been a year so I don't recall if the gauge cluster is attached to that part or not, but I think it is as well. You will need some agility with the hands if you have big hands, to undo the wire harnesses from the buttons and gauge cluster.

That said i've have a lot of experience with taking apart cars, so me saying its not that hard just sort of time consuming could be wrong for the next person thats never taken apart a dash before.

I have a spare cluster and cover at home I will look at and try to post up any pointers, but if I recall it was pretty straight forward.

Would really appreciate it if you could take some pictures of the back to see how it's bolted on. So no need to remove the steering wheel right?
