Any success adding an additional sub to the stock bose system?

yes, used a powered Kicker sub - i went with that because i wanted a sealed enclosure for tight response (not flubby and boomy) because i play a lot of metal and like a nice tight double bass drum sound.

fairly easy install, easy to remove if i need the trunk space, and remote sub level control **** for adjustment from the driver's seat.
