I live in Brooklyn and have a BS non-sport.. I'd love to have the sport bumper though!! However, my car is a lease. Do you think they would charge me for having a different bumper when the lease is up?

Mine's a lease as well and I just had a service done where I asked this question. My service manager said that they would never know so don't sweat it at least on my end at my dealer.

I've been itching to do this changeover so if you're game, let's do it! We'll each get unique cars and save a bunch a dough! Shoot me a PM if you want to do this and we can schedule a time/place to get this done!

I'm definitely down to do this switch! If you are sure that they wouldn't realize then there won't be any problem.. Now that I think of it, there is no way for them to realize that this was done.

I'd love to do it as soon as possible, but I currently have a bit of damage on my bumper and I'm waiting for the insurance to go through before I can get it fixed up. You can see details and pics of this on the thread I made about it: https://www.myg37.com/forums/body-in...headlight.html

And I don't have any experience removing bumpers, but I will be changing my own headlight soon, so I should know what I'm doing by the time we meet up.

No offense man, but unless you're getting a new bumper from the insurance claim I'm not interested. If it will be new, be sure they don't drill holes for the license plate as mine is also not drilled out. Let me know what ends up happening with your claim. Maybe they can paint the new bumper and leave it off and install mine instead? I can bring it to the shop with my van if so.
