I do not know if the harness will fit. I have not doen any research on it, but I have heard others talk about swapping seats so I figured it would not be a problem. Check it out for yourself and I will start to look around and see if I can find any information on it.

Ok. I will have to check about my lease too. I dint think they would say anything if were upgrading to a factory part. Plus im sure they would not even notice.

I sold cars for over five years and never saw anyone spend any real time looking at a lease turn in and if they are an infiniti seat I would imagine no one would ever look, much less know that it is different. I am open to modifying the seat, but I would prefer not to. I actually sold my 06 G35 after two months because the seat bothered me. I am not a big guy, but I broke my lower back about 12 years ago and I have some nerve problems that were aggravated by the G35 seat and I want to avoid even the possiblity of it in the new car. I am planning to go to the dealer (which is out of town) in the next few days to make sure that the car is what I want. I have already driven it with the sport seats and it is ok, but I would prefer to just not take the chance. Cars get expensive when you trade them with 1000 miles.

I imagine that the journey seats are more comfortable than the Sport seats but they certainly don't look any where near as good. Plus I love the thigh extensions...

I expect this would cause a devaluation of the car at resale time. I don't know if that matters to you.

Sounds good. Just let me know what you hear. Maybe the dealer will know about the harness

The sport seats are awesome they have the thigh extension. Also they have the side bolsters and on the drivers seat have power adjustable thigh and back bulsters. As some others had mentioned you all might want to research before meeting to swap if the harness will not only fit but have the right amount of pins or whatever to control the features of the sport seats correctly. Maybe order a helms manual? Hope it works out.

I too thought the sports seats were uncomfortable and they seemed to provide less head room. It’s one reason I decided to get a Journey.

I've never sat in a non-sport either. Everyone here is describing what the sport seats have that the non-sports don't. Can someone elaborate more on the non-sport seat? Are they cushier? Different material? Thickness? I'm too lazy to research this.

my buddy has the sport seats, and I think they are firmer and a little less comfortbale compared to the journey seats.

The nonsports seats are cushier and reallllyyyyyyy soft
