Well, this is interesting. Very curious to hear what comes of this. I have my winter tires on the OEM duck feet, which I find hideous. Plus. with my new coilovers and small drop, the fitment is even worse. But, perhaps the best fix is a cheap set of wheels.....
I also really like the R3x wheels that @socketz67 linked above
As Americans, we tend to throw shade on Chinese manufacturing
The issue that most Americans conflate with Chinese manufacturing is quality control. *EVERYTHING* damn near is made in China. The difference between a Snap-On screwdriver and a Harbor Freight one is QC, not raw manufacturing capability.
I'm very interested. I still need to 'borrow' a rear V1 Nismo and see what I'd need to do to get it to clear on my Sedan. At 12 years old I'm not afraid to cut and weld LOL.
What's the pricing like vs. the $600-800 each for the real Nismo ones?
So I placed an order for the chrome replica Nismo v1, since it’s the most popular one. Vendor did say it weighs about 1lb heavier in the chrome finish than other finishes.
also ordered a set of replica Volk ZE40 in 18x10.5 +22 to do a visual comparison with the legit Volk ZE40 my brother has.

Materials selection and QC; China has access to some of the highest quality materials in the world as they have invested heavily in this area. China has the best manufacturing in the world. People also grow up there with a full understanding of what it takes to manufacture something, so there are alot of armchair entrepreneurs that build knock off products because intellectual property theft isn't viewed in the same way as we view IP in the western world.

I don’t think the duck feet have to suck, but they need to be properly integrated into the theme of the car…
