Question about the 'duckfeet' rims that came on G37S/G37xS sedans
I'm looking for these rims for my 2012 G37x sedan. I've read that you can't run staggered rims on the AWD models so I am looking for four fronts.
My only question at this time is whether or not these rims came from Infiniti in both dark and light shades? I am looking at some refurbs on Ebay and am seeing the same rim but with a dark and light description and I'm not sure if that is at the discretion of the refinishers of the wheel or if these rims actually came in two different shades from the factory?
Example: This link specifies 'light hyper', and upon scrolling down it looks like they also offered the rim in 'dark hyper'.

I have only seen the factory duckfert in hyper silver as well. I was told by my local shops that the factory hypersilver is a tri-coat paint and is difficult and somewhat expensive to replicate versus other standard colours/paints. I'm betting the dark hypersilver are refinished rims and the light hypersilver are original rims in good condition, but thats just my guess. Also, you can run staggered rims on an AWD, you just have to make sure your overall tire diameter between the front/rear is within 1% variance. There is lots of info on that topic within this forum which you can find if you just do a little digging.
