Yokohama vs Continental vs Bridgestone
New tires are in order. 2013 XS. Here is what I've been looking at:
Yokohama Avid Ascend GT
Continental DWS 06
Bridgestone Potenza RE 980AS
There are some others but these are the main ones that have high scores on Tire Rack. I have the Hankook Ventus on there now, and to be honest, they've been pretty good in my opinion. I have Pirelli's on my other vehicles and they have been fantastic (2000 Nissan Maxima and 2013 Kia Sorrento) but they are too expensive for the G. I like to drive a little spirited at times up in the mts but it is mainly my daily driver. I've done a lot of looking but haven't really found much about the Avid Ascend GT for our cars. Anyone have experience with these?

I don't have any experience with the bridgestones, but I had the Continental DWS 06 and the Avid Envigors (predecessor to the Ascend GT) before that....I and loved the Yokohamas and only replaced them because I blew one out driving over a nail and didn't know any better at the time about getting it fixed....I thought the Continentals would be an upgrade but they were horrible and I hated them so much I sold them less than a year later...I did buy a set of the continentals for my wife's Honda Civic since then and its been a great tire on that car for a few year now...I just think its not a good match to the heavier G...that begin said lots of ppl on here love the continentals so YMM but if I had to choose between the contentials and the yokohamas today, I would get the yokos without hesitation....thats my 0.02 on it

Pilot sport as3 plus is the best all season tire for performance and is quite better than half the summer tires out there and has great treadlife to boot. That said, the DWS 06 is a good/great tire too...probably #2 or #3 for me.

Michelin AS/3+
Bridgestone 980AS

Continental DWS06
DWS06 is not a bad tire but the Michelin is awesome and the Bridgestone has the best wet traction I have ever experienced. See my recent reviews as I have had all 3 of these tires in the past 2 years
