I am looking to get some new wheels and tires within the next few weeks. I have seen a few sites that will sell wheel and tire packages such as Carid.com. I have the big brake package on my car.
Where have you guys gone to get your set of aftermarket wheels? What size did you go with? I'm thinking about 18x8.5 or 19x8.5 square.

 

If you have the big brakes like the ones found on the sport models than you have to be mindful of the spoke design + offset to make sure you can clear the larger brake calipers.

I have the sport package with big brakes. I have 18x9 +35 offset enkei rpf1 on the rear but when I tried to put them on the front the big brake caliper would not let the wheels fit.

I contacted enkei and was told rpf1 in 18x8.5 +30 would clear the front calipers without being too aggressive on the fenders

Very few 18" aftermarket wheels will fit over your front calipers. Not too many 19" designs, either, but it's all about the offset.

 

Depends on the wheels you want. I'd just google the model and sizes you want and look for the best deal by process of elimination. Before I bought my Rays I found some sick deals on Rohanna RC10's. 20x10 full squared setup for $1100+shipping, that's the price you'd normally pay for 3. That was an ebay seller. Also found a bunch of good deals on Cosmis wheels in their clearance section, however finding the correct size and offsets is limited that way.

My personal recommendation would be fitmentindustries.com since the employees and group seem pretty cool. They have an active youtube channel with lots of wheel coverage, among other things. The guy who does their videos on youtube runs the Wisconsin Car Enthusiast Club. You can also look through their site to see fitments on other cars.

 

Honestly I paid $2600 out the door shipped for Forged 18" Monobloc wheels from RevWorks. BC Forged RS43. Love em. Fits around our brakes perfectly. Hubcentric. Absolutely made 100% to our cars. You need nothing else besides the TPMS, rubber and some wheel lugs. I would encourage you to entertain this route.

 

After some consideration I think I'm going with 19" due to the big brakes. From what I understand is that 19" is easier for fitment with the big brakes (akenobo). I'll do some research on the width and offset but it seems like +30 offset and lower would work? Also does an Infiniti dealer need to program tpms sensors or can any wheel shop do this? I apologize if I am asking questions that have been answered before.

 

Do you mean, will you be needing to lower the car with these new wheels in order for it to look right? Almost certainly yes, you will. Granted, that's a subjective thing, but yeah... that's one of the reasons why people do it.

Any shop can sync up new sensors. Or, any tire shop at least. That's no big deal.
