Sounds like I'm sporting Mud Tires

Don't know if anyone has any knowledge on how to resolve this but any help would be greatly appreciated!!! I hit a Texas size pot hole a couple months ago and it busted my front passenger tire and slightly bent my rim. I replaced the tire and went about my business. The next day I noticed I had horrible road noise like the sound of mud tires. I took my car back to the tire place and suggested that the tire was bad and needed to be replaced. They kindly did and also went ahead and purchased another tire of for the driver side as it was getting worn. Since purchasing the new tires the road noise and has been worse. Thinking it might be my bent rim on the suggestion of the tire store rep, I took the tire off and was headed to send my rim off to have it repaired. I ended up buying 4 new rims and 4 new tires (long story - hate staggered tires and replacing them yearly) and switched to 18" tires all the size. Now needless to say the road noise is even worse. So I'm thinking I've spent way too much money to fix something that isn't tire related at all but something else entirely. Any suggestions as to what might make my car sound like I'm ready to go mudding?

Car is a 2010 G37 Convertible with 200K+ miles

What brand and model? Tread pattern makes a huge difference in sound. And if that were truly a Texas-sized pothole, you'd still be driving through it.

Just purchased Michelin Premier. Could it possibly be the bearings? When I turn the steering wheel to the left slightly while driving the sound gets louder and deeper sounding. If I do it to the right the noise eases up some. I am pretty sure it’s not my alignment because the car doesn’t pull or drift one way or the other. I just had my brakes and roters changed as well.

Yes. It definitely could be a wheel bearing. A strong enough impact from the pot hole could have definitely compromised one. I would recommend taking it to a qualified shop to verify your issue. The sound usually changes when turning on a bad wheel bearing.

This is spot on. the symptoms described as well as the impact are precisely those you'd experience when a front wheel bearing is damaged....good new is they are one piece units that pop in with four bolts and dont require a press so there are many aftermarket options...IIRC Timken is an OE supplier and you can get a replacement from them on Rockauto for pretty cheap...
