Wrecked my rim.

I have some Vossen CV2. I tried teaching my sister how to drive stick and she flew into the side of a curb. Ive been told this is unrepairable and seeing as how these rims are discontinued I ask myself, am I forced to buy a new set or what?

Just because a rim is discontinued doesn't mean one can't be found. I acquired a set of Konig Villains last year. They were discontinued probably 10 years ago.

I’m searching far and wide amigo. I’m sure it’s unsafe to drive this bad boy too.

The rim might be repairable. I'd look for a shop that can do that. WheelAmerica(?) does that in Houston.

that particular rim is completely effed. Contact Vossen to see what they can do for you. "Discontinued" means they aren't making any more of them. It does not mean they don't have any more of them. Even if they do not have any, it doesn't mean they don't have a dealer with one in stock, and they will be able to point you in the right direction.

That’s exactly what I was thinking so I emailed them yesterday. Just waiting on a reply.

Then again, I found these guys this morning because I have a slightly bent rim that won't balance, and it's pissing me straight off. Their site says they can fix anything, you may have someone like them near you.

Nope, I’m screwed. I’ve taken it to 5 different people and they have all told me it’s unrepairable because of the lip.
