Question Help choosing wheels and tires

Hey guys,

I have a '12 S coupe w/ the sport brakes.

I'm looking into getting a new set of wheels and tires, and have some questions regarding what I can and can't do within the parameters of the suspension mods I am also getting.

I suppose I should start by saying that I plan on dropping the car on some BC BR coils to get rid of most, but not all, of that horrific wheel gap.
I'm looking for a semi-aggressive, relatively flush fitment. (I would also like to eventually autoX the car, so if there's something obvious I should know about these fitments/any issues with them, lmk.)

That said, I want something beefier in front than 8.5s. So far my top pick is:

Niche Targa M130
Front: 19x9.5+35
Considering 255s or 265s.
Rear: 19x10+25
Considering 275s or 285s.

With 255s and the same AR, the front is supposed to have 2.7mm less inner clearance and 2.3 cm more poke over OEM sport wheels. The rear is supposed to have 3.1 cm more poke.

The wheels are more concave than my stock wheels, so my educated guess, which I will verify upon ordering, is that they will clear my brakes.

Should these fit (relatively flush with the fender and free of rub) after a slight drop and a little angle?

Thanks in advance!

Would wider be too much tire in your opinion, or would there be issues with rub?

I have coupe wheels on my sedan and the front clearence is quite small with regards to the Akebonos. I'm not sure you have 3 mm there to give away.

Slartibartfast:
I was under the impression inner clearance was referring to the inside of the wheel with respect to the wheel well, as opposed to the inside face of the wheel with respect to the brakes. Could be wrong, but hopefully its nothing a small spacer can't fix!

As an update:

The 19x10 Niche Targas have been discontinued... Was actually in the process of ordering them from ModBargains when the salesman realized they are no longer made!

I have yet to pull the trigger, but after speaking with them, I think I am going with the 19x9.5 +35 Targa squared on 265s and BC BRs w a slight drop. ModBargains claims this will work if anyone else is curious. Will post updates/pics here and to the coupe wheel pages after placing and receiving the order.
