New Wheel Ideas!?

Hey G fam! I have a black sedan and thinking of getting new tires and wheels soon and wondering if any of you could recommend a good website to look at? I want to go up to 18s and I like the two-toned black look, similar to picture I attached. Any help is greatly appreciated!!

Check tirerack.com for conservative fitment sets. For more aggressive sets and most made in Japan, check this link
Wheels | Evasive Motorsports
Getyourwheels.com does a nice job for us here, ask for Jason or Josh if you want to deal there.
I have Wedssport 18s from Getyourwheels and am happy w/ them
elementwheels.com has a huge selection too.

@rayray, i recently upgraded to summer wheels (tires and rims). Tire rack and OE wheels are the two places i started out to get a sense of what i liked. Not sure where you're out of but I found a few reputable tire shops that i compared before deciding. Good luck and let us know what you go with!

Thanks! I am out of South Alabama but the car came from upstate NY I believe. I the AWD if that helps with some ideas. I also noticed that there is quite a bit of rust around the brakes etc. So i may be looking into getting that all fixed as well.

well considering upstate NY prob gets slammed with snow and the owner may not have took care of it, that doesn't entirely shock me. These are the wheels I ended up with (Verde Parallax & Michelin Super Sport tires). VERY happy with them

I bought mine from element wheels Concept One Wheels & Tires - Authorized Dealer of Custom Rims

very satisfied with them. I would highly recommend a staggered setup, they look awesome on our cars.

lol I think I understand it for the most being a chick but this is my first time ever getting new wheels/tires so I'll prob just take to my usual mechanic first and see what they say since I need the rust looked into as well. I notice when I pulled up your rims they were for another car, any issues there with that?

op there is no rim specific to only fitting one car. all you need to know is bolt pattern which is 5x114.3 for our G's and then what offset you want to run. The higher the offset the more conservative the fitment will be, the lower the more aggressive.

Since you have AWD it's easier to go with a square setup (all wheels & tires the same size). When you go to a staggered setup (wider wheels/tire in back) you need to be very careful w/ tire sizing as the front to rear diameters need to be very close, less than 1% difference and the closer to zero the better. I can help with that if you want to go that route. As far as offsets, depends how flush to the fender you want to be and what's available from the wheel vendor.

A good basic size/offset for a square setup on your sedan would be something like a 18x8.5 +35 running 245/45/18 tires all around, that would be a baseline size and to go wider you would go more positive w/ the offset.

If you don't plan to lower your G something like that would look best. As you go lower a more aggressive setup w/ lower offsets and larger diameter wheels like 19s or 20s would be something to consider.

Blnewt is right on rolling circumference, I have AWD and have been running staggered for four years with no issues.
8.5x19 +35mm offset and 9.5x19 +43mm offset.
245/40/19 front 275/35/19 rear,
they have a circumference difference of 0.4%
