I've been searching the second hand market. I'm finding questionable levels of curb rash. I'm not so certain I can assess the levels of damage and how bent the rims might be. Often the rims have tires on them or a plastic coating that makes it even harder to determine the condition. I felt it might be best to go with new winter rims. I think I've rounded it down to these three choices. All of these rims should be properly sized and not require wheel spacers.

$139 Fast Wheels Switch

$139 Fast Wheels Innovation. Lighter weight but open design might lead to problems with ice chunks rattling around inside and brake shoe exposure. Probably the easiest to clean of the three.

$100. CitiWheels. NIfty looks from a Maylasian manufacturer. Don't know how well they would hold up to Canadian winter conditions.

Any thoughts?
