Lug nut suggestions
First of all the quality is amazing. Second, I feel so much more secure with these on. Third, 2oz lighter on each (I know who cares lol but I had to know) which adds up to .5 of a lb on each corner.
Useless info:
My oem lug set weighs 54oz or so, Mcgard set weigh 22oz or so. 32oz difference = 2 lbs loss lol.
Great recommendation. Thanks again. I would highly recommend also. Bought for $90 shipped on eBay.
Look at you with the scale. 1/2 pound reduction of rotational mass at each corner... sounds impressive when said like that, doesn't it? LOL
I'm glad you're happy with them, lorentzoe45.
You know, about that lock nut... I used some self-serving rationale there, and bought another set of four extra McGards that I'm using instead of the lock nuts. My thinking is that the 8-sided spline socket is a proprietary design to McGard, unlike the universal 6-sided design, so it would be enough to discourage a thief of opportunity who happens to carry a standard spline-drive socket with him.
It just looks better having all five the same, IMO.

Enkie RPF1... that's all about weight reduction, anyway. People who know what they are will respect them, whereas people who don't might think they're ugly but that's their problem.
Chrome-trimmed center car looks nice, IMO.
