255 40 19 + 35 on Stock X sedan?
Sorry guys I looked for an hour and didn't see the same question. Just wondering if I'll have rubbing issues. No drop any time soon.

What size are the rims? I am running a 19x9 +38 square set up with 265/35-19 tires and there is plenty of room. You should be fine

You'll be fine.
I must say that the 255 will be slightly bulging out of the 8.5 but it should look nice and meaty

Yeah I've seen a bunch of the 245 40's and they just looked thin for what I wanted. Once I got the tires in I was worried about the rubbing issues. They look huge!!! There is a lot of parallel parking up here so a little extra tire will be a plus for my rims!!! Thanks for the quick response. Gotta love Myg37.com!!!

3 year old thread, but if your friend won't clear his calipers with an X sedan, then its likely due to spoke design.
