I don't know how tight the tolerances are on the Nissan AWD system but in order to run 275's on the rear you would have to run 275/35/19 which come in at 26.58" tall, compared to the 26.72" of the 245/45/19. That is a difference of about .5%.

Most people recommend no bigger than a 3/32" difference front and rear. That's about .09", the tires you want come out to be about .14" difference.

IMO you are better off keeping the tire sizes square on an AWD.

What wheels are you running to consider the staggered tires?

255/40 is an even bigger difference. 255/40/19 comes in at 27.03" tall, which is about .31" taller than the 245/40/19's.

Stay square. I mean, you might be able to get away with the 245, 275 combo, but why chance it?

I have a G37x sedan. I'm running 245/40 275/35 f/19x9 r/19x10. No issues to report at this time. I took a leap of faith from information on the following 2 threads - Okay, that and a barely used tire/wheel combo was available at a great price. I can say one thing for certain - That extra beef in the rear was very noticeable, even on a stock car before lowering.

I have a set of 19x9.5 wheels on the way with +20 offset for g37x, my question is if i run a square setup with 255/40 r19 tires will i come into contact with any rubbing issues with the fender? I also plan on lowering my car i the future but not sure how much just yet.

20 is a pretty low offset for the sedan, they will definitely be poking out at stock height. I have 245/40/19 on 19x9.5 +35, I'm lowered to just under 26" from the fenders to the ground, and it's close to a perfect fit (with minimal camber).

do you think i should ask for a higher offset? I believe the options were +20 or +40 for the 9.5's i'm not sure if they offer custom offsets, but if so what would be a better offset for the 255's?

I think the +40 would be a better fit. If you wanted to fit the +20s, you would probably need a smaller tire, lowered, with some camber.

i definitely would like to keep camber to a minimum and prevent from having to roll the fenders
