Forgeline CF10 okay for AWD sedan?

Hi, I own a G37XS with club feet. Can I fit/install the following wheels with my AWD application?

Forgeline CF 10 with:
19x9 - 245/40/19 19x10 - 275/35/19

Yes you can, but need to confirm the offsets, that can make or break the deal.

And my other option is a:
Vossen 083 square setup

19x8.5
+20 offset
5x114.3
245 40 19 Dunlops

Would the Vossen be a better way to go for the AWD 2010 G37xS?

I'd run the Forgestars, those offsets are great for the tire combo too!

Only real advantage w/ the square setup is being able to do a true 4 wheel rotation and the +20 offset, even on a narrower 8.5 width will poke outside the fender edge about 5-7mm.

thank you. So no problem with the Forgestar's and AWD G37xS? I tried to do a search here but I couldn't find any Forgestar's on an AWD G37xS sedan, which my car is.

tire/wheel calculator for 19x9 - 245/40/19 19x10 - 275/35/19 says:

Inner Clearance:
6mm less

Outer Position:
retract by 6mm

Diameter difference:
-0.14" (-0.52%)

is that a correct application for a G37xS sedan? I apologize for the multiple questions. The wheel/tire combo is local and won't last long. Thank you again.

Yes, that tire combo is well within the under 1% range and the offsets will keep your wheels just about to the fender edge w/ the tires easily tucking inside the fenders under compression. The front wheel edge will be just about even w/ the fender edge when looking straight down, the rear will be about 3mm outside the fender edge but the tires will angle under the fender edges when compressed.

BTW, are you lowered or plan on lowering? The additional camber if you do a mild drop (like Swift springs) with OEM camber/toe sets will also give you a bit more wiggle room.

Great! I can't thank you enough for your patience and assistance Brad!

It's been great to be received here as a new member and to acquire assistance. I'm certain you get questions every day from new people like myself, and yet from the countless threads I've read this week you and other longtime members always reach out to assist those of us, well speaking for myself, who are clueless!

I'll acquire the wheels tomorrow then.

Yes, I'm brand new at this, but after hanging out here for a week I was considering the XR1 coilover with the /Swift upgrade, which at the moment is $1389 delivered.

What do you think?

The Stance coilovers are pretty well regarded from the reviews I've read. Keep in mind the smaller sidewalls of the 19s coupled w/ the firmer coilover setup will result in a pretty firm ride. You will also want at least a rear camber/toe kit so that's another $200 in the pot. You might also consider just the Swift lowering springs if budget is a concern, and want a ride that should be closer to OEM.

And those Forgestar specs w/ the tire sizes you want will result in a nice fit for a lowered X sedan.

Okay, so the coilover won't give me a greater drop than the Swifts allow? Perhaps I should simply begin with the Swifts, and although it will be costlier if I elect to later sample a coilover it's simpler to begin with the Swifts...My thinking was since the car's over 100k it would be smart to replace the stock suspension components. I was also considering a Hotchkis F/R swaybar.

But since the car rides great as it is, perhaps better to leave well enough alone? After all, I'm only after a lower look in a DD...

Didn't know your mileage was at 100k, that would make it a more logical decision to go w/ the whole new coilover setup. And yes the coilover setup can go MUCH lower than the Swift springs, although I wouldn't go more than a 2" drop w/ your AWD.
