Wheel offset

I have a 2013 G37x coupe 18 inch stock rims 43mm offset. If I changed my rims staying at 18 inch and going to a 35 or 38 mm offset would that give me clearance for the akebono brake upgrade without using any spacers?

Depends on the wheel design, some have very little backspacing, some have a lot, and the thickness of the spokes will come into play too. Do you have a specific wheel in mind?

Not yet. I was just getting some thought to see if it would work. Thanks for your help.

There's quite a few 18s that will clear, I run Wedssport SA-10R in a 18x9.5 +38 and they have a lot of BBK clearance. 18s from SSR, Rays, and Work also have quite a bit of room typically in those mid 30 offsets.

Once you find a couple styles you like we can narrow it down to what should work.
