Will these wheels fit?

I have a 2013 G37 sedan with stock 225-55-17 tires. My buddy just bought a Q70 & put aftermarket wheels/tires on it. He said I could have his OEM set if they'd fit my car. Can I put these (245-50-18) on my vehicle without issues?

If you're swapping the whole wheel/tire set then yes you can fit

The way I read OP he'd be getting wheels and tires, not just tires. You should be able to run the oem wheels off the Q70 no problem on your car.

It's done!

Thanks for the confirmation. I took the wheels & had the tire shop install them for me. I think the car looks a lot better.

Nice upgrade your buddy gave you.
Definitely look better than the stock 17 inchers.

Nice look there, and a nice friend too! Keep in mind those tires will be almost an inch taller than your OEM tire size so your vehicle speed will be about 3.5% slower on your speedometer than you're actually going.

Yes, good observation. I totally missed that his new tires are 50 series instead of 45s.

I guess that's why they fill out the wheel opening so well.

Good Morning Guys,

I plan on purchasing a used set of vossen wheels

Fronts: 20x9 +38
Rears: 20x10.5 +45

I have a G37 sedan lowered on swift springs but purchasing fortune auto coilovers next month. Will these wheels fit with my current setup.

Thanks

Gabe

Yes, if you do a search on this forum for that size, you will see a dozen of G Sedans using that offset. You could even run as big as a 285 in the rear and it would still clear.

Gabe, those are good offsets for your sedan, 245/35 & 275/30 tires for an easy fit, for a real flush setup 255/35 & 285/30, might have to run a bit of camber (but probably not) for the 255/285s.

Thank you guys.
I failed to mention that I'm running 15mm wheel spacers all around for my current setup.

I personally was recommended to run 20x9+32 as opposed to +38 by Vossen surprisingly when I ordered my CVT's.

I'm not sure if the OP has AWD. However, his stock tires seem like AWD sizes. Wouldn't 255/35 and 285/30 be slightly over the 1% of tolerance or has it been proven that there is more tolerance than that?

I personally am running 245/35 and 285/30 for that exact reason. 255 would be perfectly flush though, as my fronts are damn near perfect already so even a 5 mm spacer, would probably do the trick? pictures for reference and to show the OP what that sizing would look like.

I thought you could be at or under 3% difference and still be OK. Not sure though... never tried running staggered on mine.

If you have RWD there is more wiggle room when you stagger, up to 3% seems to work ok. With AWD you MUST be under 1% variance and even closer to zero would be preferred.
