Wheel suggestions

Hey guys I'm new to the community just purchased my G coupe, and was wondering what are some of you guys recommendations when it comes to wheels. I think I want to go 20 inch. I'm on a budget so nothing crazy.

20s if not quality are heavy and degrade ride quality.
I'd go 19s imo.
Whats your budget
I'd do an oem wheel in 19 like oem ipl oem S model wheels or oem 370z wheels if on budget.
If must be 20s id do oem gtr wheels.

Thanks for the info I think I might end up just lowering and adding spacers with my oem 08'coupe wheels, because if I can't get quality 20's it's not worth it in my opinion.

Will I see significant mpg diff if I go with 20's in the future?

I'm a big fan of oem wheels. They're selling on the forum for very attractive prices too!
IPL 19's ($1k)
GT-R DBA 20's ($1.2k)

Kick nailed it, IPLs are muchhhhh lighter than sport wheels and you'll feel the difference. For 20s, you can't go wrong with the GTRs as they look amazing plus getting cheaper by the day. I would recommend looking for a set of the Black Edition GTR wheels, they're 13lbs lighter than CBA/DBA sets which is significant for 20s.

Coincidentally, there's a set of black editions selling for $2.5k with tires.

Good replies, and if you do score some GTR wheels the 20" tires are typically quite a bit cheaper than 19s.

Here's a link to a couple of threads all about wheels of different sizes. Might give you a direction to go in.

Depending on your location, there's a local guy here selling some 19" OEM 370z staggered wheels, they'd look killer. $800 picked up WITH tires!

I dunno man, I looked really hard at the GT-R rims. I have an IPL with spacers and the rears are dead flush (25mm spacers). The rear GT-R wheels would stick out another 14mm and the fronts, being 9.5's with a 40mm offset, would need at least a 5mm spacer to be flush up front with a mild drop (less than an inch). Honestly, I just think the rears would look stupid poking out another half an inch on my setup (performance). If I could get four fronts, I'd consider that but the diminished ride quality would probably be very noticeable round these parts. Great bargain wheel though.

Edit: Also, at least for Michelin PSS, the cost of 20" tires, in the same or close to diameter of the stock wheels, is actually more expensive than the 19's.

I prefer 19s though they arent as budget friendly bc if tires, but they fit the car size much better
