I'm not spewing ideas or personal reasons, these are facts. Using a different size wheel or tire from the rest doesn't do any favors for your driveline, severely diminish the braking capabilities, drivability and safety. The manufacturer says they are for temporary use BECAUSE of the issues it can cause. If they were 100% safe and reliable as the other sizes, they wouldn't specify emergency use. Why suggest causing even minor issues or degrade the safety if you don't have to? You asked why I couldn't, and I guess I should have said you can if you are in an emergency but its never recommended. So again, I wont/cant/shouldn't whatever.... My life is worth more to me than being on time for work .
