Continental DWS06 review
I recently returned to the Infiniti family when I purchased a 2013 G37s coupe with 25k miles on it.
It was still on original tires--the RE050s were completely shot and I needed tires ASAP. Dropped by discount tire and the only thing they could get quick were the Conti DWS.
I had a very bad experience with the original DWS on my 07 G35S sedan several years ago and was a little worried but too desperate to wait. I know they are supposed to have increased the performance with the "06" upgrade to the tires but the old DWS felt like balloon tires to me.
Good news! The new DWS06 is a huge improvement and feels very sporty with good turn-in. While they are obviously softer than the stock tires they are completely acceptable for an all season tire and really feel great. I just recently put Michelin AS/3s on my BMW 328i coupe and the Conti's don't feel as crisp as those do but I am happy with Conti's for the price.
I'll try to remember to update this review after I get some miles in the rain and then as the mileage increases.

AS/3s are great but thus far I am happy with the new DWS. I drove about 150 miles today and they performed well.

If the AS/3's are 10% more I think they are worth it--above that I think the DWS06 is a better value. Keep in mind that I haven't driven the DWS06 in the rain yet so I am assuming wet performance is good.

Drove the DWS in torrential rain today and the performance was excellent. I would say the hydroplaning resistance and wet traction are on par with the Michelin AS/3. Dry performance is not as good...of course this is comparing them on 2 different cars.
However, the dry performance of the Michelins was transformative on my 115k mile BMW. I would say the DWS06 is a solid step below them on dry but roughly equal on wet traction and slightly above on hydroplane resistance when new.
