Where did these OEM wheels come from?!

Hi all,

I have a 2003 Infiniti M45, and I am putting new wheels and tires on it. I decided to buy the G37 anniversary wheels because my research showed that they came in the following size: 19x9 +30 (rear). I bought 4 of these wheels from various places, and they all listed the wheels as "rear wheels."

Well, two of the wheels I received are stamped 19x9 +45 and 2 wheels are 19x9 +30. They are identical in all other ways.

I cannot find any documentation online about which vehicle(s) used these wheels in 9" width with +45 offset. This is a minor annoyance, as I am going to run a square setup. Looks like I'll need 15mm spacers for the fronts.

Does anyone have a clue as to where the +45 offset wheels came from?

TIA.

The +30 is a convertible anniversary wheel, the +45 is a regular coupe Anniversary set.

Good to know. Fortunately, I ordered 2 of each, so I can use them with spacers for the fronts!

Is there any difference in concavity? I know the non-anniversary 19" vert vs. non-anniversary coupe 19s have more concavity w/ the +30 offset.

Both wheel faces appear identical, to me anyways. I can't see a difference in the concave faces. It looks like there is simply more material on the mounting surface on the +30 wheels.

The Verts have wider fender flares (at least in the back).

If only the IPLs had a lower offset like that...Enkei really missed out on that opportunity for a true sport wheel.

Blame that on Infiniti, not Enkei.

The fact that I could even find wheels that fit my 2003 M45 with the Akebono BBK is amazing. I was going to go aftermarket, but then I saw the Anniversary wheels and thought they would be the best bang for the buck solution.

Actually, these wheels are made by RAYS, not Enkei.

Edit: nevermind, I think you're talking about the newer IPL wheels.
