TPMS light on even though it is slightly above 35

Hey everyone! I have had this issue since 30 mins after I left the lot of the dealership. The TPMS light stays on.

I have checked all the tire pressure but they read about 37psi each tire. Could this be that it is 2 over too high? Somewhat confused unless the TPMS got damaged while driving it home.

Called the dealership but they said bring it in to the closes dealership which is about 100 miles away from my location.

Any tips or ideas on this issue?

Try dropping to proper pressures. You'll be over 40psi hot.

Either the sensor is dead (battery is dead or the sensor is physically damaged) or it needs to be reprogrammed. You can get them on Amazon for $35 each, much better price than at the stealership.

You believe this would be covered under warranty?

If things don't go well. Then stealership it is

If all this doesn't go well, hopefully the dealership would cover this under their warranty

Sweet! When those low profiles get a nail and slowly leak air to the point of blowout you'll be happy sitting on the side of the road (or causing something worse to happen) because you didn't want to pony up $200 bucks just in case............
