Lightbulb Continental DWS 06 or Pirelli Cinturato P7?

I'm about to replace the stock Goodyear 225/55 R17s, which are incredibly smooth and vibration-free, making my G37 feel like its gliding on ice. Noise and handling are acceptable, but with a replacement tire I'm interested in reducing noise further and preserving that smooth glide.

What are people's experience with the Continental DWS 06 and Pirelli Cinturato P7? Which tire is quieter and smoother?

The pirelli is a grand touring tire and is going to have a slightly better ride. The continental is a performance tire and will handle better. Either will be a significant improvement in handling and ride quality over the goodyears.

Longer life, better ride, quieter would be the Pirelli's focus. Those work great as a touring based tire that wont beat you up every day. The Conti is a bit more sport based so better handling and response, but tad more noise and stiffer ride compared to the Pirelli. Both are great tires, just work well in differ ways.

I appreciate the feedback from everyone. At this point I'm leaning towards splitting the difference and going with Conti PureContacts.
