summer set up question

Hi,

I have a 2009 S Coupe.

last winter i put on Nokian on my OEM rim

To avoid the trouble having to mount winter/summer every year, I decided to get any set of the summer (so the winter tire will stay on my OEM)

i have just purchased a set of the OEM on the 2011 XS model (19"x8.5 all around).

I'm wondering if any of the tires below I can use on these new rim

2 x Continental Tires -ExtremeContact DW 265/35 ZR 19 94Y
2 x Continental Tires -ExtremeContact DW 245/40 ZR 18 93Y
2 x General G-max As -03 225/45 19 92W

thanks

I'd run the 245/40 19s all around on those 8.5" width wheels, that's the best mount for those.
I'd look at the Conti DW, but also give a look at Bridgestone SO-4 Pole Position, BFG SportComp2, and Toyo T1Sports, all these will be a nice upgrade, and since the 245/40 is a common size the prices should be pretty good. If you have a larger budget the Michelin Pilot Super Sports would be a the gold standard.

Did you purchase a square set of wheels with the intent to run square on your RWD?
If so, then yes 245/40 all around. If not, then stick with a staggered tire. Super sports can be found used for a good price if you know what to look for. Take the G-max off your list. Super sports, conti sportcontact 5p, conti DW, S-04 pole...stick with those.

Hi thanks for the comment

Yes. I got the square rim for my Rwd (only because the price for the rim was a good deal)

The above tires I mentioned are actually tires I currently have and sitting at home (I bought the continental for my old 350z but didn't get to put it on and I sold the car)

The G max was what it came with my G when I bought it. Believe they are the front 2 as the rear 2 were worn out and I got rid of them

the 245/40/19s are a good front size, 275/35 is more preferred for the rear.
If you go with that, I'll take those 265s from you lollllll

Maybe I will keep the g-max on the front (225/45 19)
And try the continental 265/35 19 on the back if it works.

Not sure if I can use the 245/40 in the back (they are 18")

I would be happy arrange something with you, been trying to sell this set locally but no luck. However I'm from BC Canada so shipping with be needed. However you do get the advantage on the currency..

Thought that 18" was a typo above
I wouldn't mix All Seasons w/ summer tires unless it's just for a very short term. The rubber compound and tread would be very different which could result in some unsafe/unpredictable conditions.

Yea. The 2x18" and 2x19" were for my old 350z

Would they be able to mount on my square set up G xs OEM rim?

The 19" tires will, you'd have to run the 18s on the 18" wheels.
